Massive parking garages loom in Commanders plans

The new Commanders stadium in Washington, DC, could have its own 11-story garages, which are more than half the height of the stadium itself. The team is seeking approval from the National Capital Planning Commission (NCP) for the project. The total number of parking spots won't exceed 8,000 and 75% of them will be carried out by two multi-level parking decks. However, some community feedback has urged them to consider low garage heights.
