Reina Chavez Sandobal, 41, of Midvale, is suspected of desecrating her husband's body on a remote Summit County road after her boyfriend allegedly killed him. Deputies with the Summit County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to investigate "human remains covered in blood" near the intersection of Browns Canyon Road and High View Road on March 26. The victim's family, who live out-of-state, informed authorities that Sandobal had assured them that her husband was fine and not to be worried about his welfare. Sandobal reportedly disclosed that her boyfriend physically and sexually abused her the night before the body was found, and that she and her boyfriend loaded him into her vehicle and hid the body in a blanket covered in his blood.
