The Minnesota Wild's winless streak has now stretched to three games, with a 4-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team, likely not playing in the postseason, struggled in the second period and gave up three goals in the next period. Bo Groulx, who recently got promoted from the minors, scored two goals for the Maple Leafs, while Vladimir Tarasenko scored twice in 23 seconds for the fastest two goals by a single player on home ice in team history during a dominant third period by the Wild. The Wild's coach, John Hynes, stated that their preparation as individual players isn't where it needs to be and that they might need to change their routines.
