LA County 4th District Supervisor, Mary Hahn, presented the award to Catalina Hinojosa at the annual Women of the Year celebration hosted by the Los Angeles County Commission for Women. Hahn commended Hinjosa's personal journey and dedication to helping others rebuild their lives. She dedicated herself to the San Pedro Recovery Alliance, where she leads efforts to support formerly incarcerated individuals, people struggling with addiction, and people experiencing homelessness. The award was presented during the ceremony at the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.
