An Iowa woman pleads not guilty in the 2011 killing of real estate agent

Kristin Ramsey, a 53-year-old woman accused of murdering Iowa Realty agent Ashley Okland in 2011, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. The death of Okland, which occurred nearly 15 years after her death, led to heightened safety practices for agents nationwide. Ramsey was arrested last month after an indictment by a grand jury and arrest, withholding details on a potential motive or any new evidence in the case. Okland was found dead at a model townhome where she was hosting an open house. Her death has led to increased caution in the real estate community and a pledge to not show any property to someone unfamiliar or unfamiliar.
