Tiffani Jade Scarborough, a 25-year-old nurse and newlywed wife, was murdered in 2021 in her home in Dublin, Georgia. Her husband, Benjamin Lee Whitaker, was convicted of her murder in March of this year and sentenced to life without parole. The investigation began during a welfare check after two Scarborough's co-workers found her dead on the kitchen floor. Following a manhunt, Whitaker was found in the woods on July 1, 2021. In court, he told police that he shot Scarborough due to her constant nagging. The couple had only married less than two months before her death.
