Voluntary Water Conservation Urged In Stratford By Aquarion Water Company

Aquarion Water Company has urged customers in Stratford, New Hampshire, to voluntarily reduce their water use due to ongoing drought conditions. The Eastern Fairfield County System has reached its first drought trigger at 65% of its capacity. As a result, Aquarion is urging customers to reduce their usage and install Water-Efficient fixtures such as low-flow showerheads and faucets. The company also provides a list of six simple ways to conserve water. It will introduce its twice-weekly irrigation schedule to eastern Fairfield counties, which is credited with saving hundreds of millions of gallons of water each year.
