1 arrested, 1 injured after stabbing in Whitehouse

The Smith County Sheriff's Office reported that one person was injured and one was arrested following a stabbing in Whitehouse. The suspect was taken into custody after a 45-minute standoff with deputies. The sheriff's office declined to identify the suspect, stating that the Whitehouse Police Department is investigating the incident as an aggravated assault case.
