Two people arrested in a shooting investigation near OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's San Francisco home have been released from jail while prosecutors continue their review of the case. The San Francisco District Attorney's Office stated that San Francisco police had probable cause to arrest the suspects, but additional investigation is needed before prosecutors can determine whether charges are warranted. The arrests were made after investigators identified a Honda sedan believed to be linked to the incident. The shooting occurred early Sunday near the home of Altman, where police responded to a possible shooting and determined that a driver and passenger had traveled past a home around the time of the gunfire. The incident occurred two days after a separate alleged attack at Altman’s home.
