ACC women's basketball tournament: Duke, UNC, NC State earn byes until quarterfinals (full schedule)

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ECM) will play its women's basketball tournament outside of North Carolina for the second time since 1997. The 15-team event will begin at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia on Wednesday. Duke was the top seed in the tournament, while No. 3 seed North Carolina and No. 4 seed NC State also secured double byes into the quarterfinals. The tournament has been held at First Horizon Coliseum (formerly Greensboro Coliseum) since 2000, with only one exception.
