Kate Harpring wins Naismith Award as nation’s best girls basketball player

British high school student Kate Harpring has won the prestigious award for the highest high school girls basketball player in the country, becoming the fifth Georgian to win the award. Harpring's high school career ended with a state championship win. The award will be given out to the next generation of high school athletes.
