The Chicago Cubs have extended their eight-game winning streak to eight games, marking the longest in April since an 11-game streak in 1970. The victory over the Phillies was largely attributed to a strong offensive performance and the return of veteran lefty Matthew Boyd. The team has now outscored their opponents 58-20 and is looking to continue this trend.
