The Atlanta Braves have called up their No. 2 prospect, JR Ritchie, for his MLB debut against the National League, following a disappointing performance by No. 3 prospect Didier Fuentes during the team's 8-6 win over the Nationals. The 22-year-old right-hander ranks as MLB Pipeline's No. 79th prospect and has posted a 0.99 ERA over five starts for Triple-A Gwinnett and only allowed one run over 23 2/3 innings in April. This comes amid a challenging week for the Braves' rotation, with Reynaldo López's one-inning performance in the loss to the Nationals causing a shortage of resources.
