The NCAA Tournament is set to expand from 68 to 76 teams, despite not yet having yet made a significant impact. The expansion is due to various committees and will be made official in May. Despite this, sources suggest that it will not bring in significant profits compared to what the NCAA and conferences were previously taking-in. The main reason for expansion is that without more revenue, how do you pay for more games, travel, and expenses of an expanded tournament, the expansion will create more problems.
