An elderly man and woman are dead after their car became completely submerged in a canal while driving, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle was discovered around 4:59 p.m. The driver was reportedly attempting a three-point turn when the car likely reversed into the water. The victims were recovered by Yuba City Fire Water Rescue. The license plate of the vehicle indicates an address in Nevada.
