Glen Sannox ferry needs £3.2m repairs after one year in service

Ferguson Marine CEO, Graeme Thomson, has revealed that the CalMac vessel, Glen Sannox, needs £3.2m in repairs after one year in service. The additional steel has been added to strengthen the vessel, but only new propellors are needed to resolve the issue. The project has been embroiled in an industrial and political scandal, which has damaged the reputation of the SNP government and Caledonian MacBrayne.
