Chili's Italian sister chain, Maggiano's Little Italy, has struggled, with its sales and footprint steadily decreasing. Brinker International CEO Kevin Hochman is leading the turnaround, with 19 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth and a 2-year comp sales growth of +43%. While Chili's has been performing well, Maggian's has struggled. Hochmann is focusing on bringing the magic of Chili's around to Maggian's Little Italian, where the brand is known for its value proposition and service model. While there is a plan to update many Chili's locations, the chain plans a smaller investment in its Italian chain.
