Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has responded to President Donald Trump's demand for him to be fired for making a joke about his death on his show, accusing him of hypocrisy. Kimmel had previously called first lady Melania Trump an "expectant widow" during a segment where he mentioned his parents' marriage and stated that he would not live long enough for them to surpass them. The president responded by posting on Truth Social, calling for Disney and ABC to fire Kimmel. This follows another attempt by the Trump administration to censor Kimmel, who was previously suspended by ABC after comments he made following the killing of Charlie Kirk. Despite this controversy, Disney appears to be standing by Kimmel.
