Actor Kevin Janssens and co-director Filip Lenaerts have directed a six-part limited series about the WWII Labor Camp Drama ‘Breendonk’ set during the Nazi Occupation of Belgium. The series is inspired by the real-life story of Belgium's most infamous labor camp, Breendonk. It will be featured in its world premiere at Séries Mania, the Series Festival in the North of France, on March 25. The show is a Belgian co-production between De Mensen, Anagram, VRT, Streamz and New8. The creators and director, Wim Janssen, expressed their desire to bring local stories to life and connect them with a wider European audience.
