Scared and angry British Jews demand more from government after knife attack

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has faced protests from angry and fearful British Jews following a knife attack in which two Jewish men were stabbed. The incident occurred in the Golders Green area, which has a large Jewish population, and comes ahead of local-government elections in May. The Jewish News decried what it called a "bull$##%" response, declaring "Jews Bleed". The Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, was there within hours, calling antisemitism a "national emergency". The Interior Minister, Shabana Mahmood, acknowledged the intensity and scale of pro-Palestinian protests had put pressure on the Jewish community but denied attempts to limit them.
