The gunman, Julio César Jasso, who opened fire on tourists atop a pyramid at Mexico's Teotihuacan ruins, was a Hitler fanatic who posed for photos throwing Nazi salutes and was found with an AI-generated photo of himself posing with the Columbine school shooters. He also appeared to be a member of the True Crime Community, which glorifies school shootings. Jasso killed a Canadian tourist and shot several others before taking his own life. The incident occurred on the 27th anniversary of the Columbination High School massacre and Hitler's birthday. Eight of the victims are still recovering in the hospital.
