Fifteen beagles rescued from a former research facility in South Florida are being prepared for a forever home at Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation in Lauderhill. The dogs were transported from Palm Beach County to Lauderhill after Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Wisconsin received assistance. Volunteers are preparing the dogs for adoption and learning about their difficult pasts. The beagles will be named after humane brands that do not test animals. The goal is for most of them to be placed in foster homes where they can learn how to be a dog.
