Arizona's Attorney General, Kris Mayes, has ordered the owners, Alejandra and Ignacio Garcia, of Pit Stop RV Park in Quartzsite, to restore power to tenants within 48 hours. This comes amid a heat wave that has left several elderly and disabled residents at the park vulnerable to heat-related illnesses. Mayes has demanded that the owners restore full power to the tenants by 5 p.m. on Thursday, providing documentation from a contractor or utility company, and providing copies of termination notices. If not met, the park could face penalties for up to $10,000 per violation and attorney's fees.
