The director of photography for the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie accidentally leaked Link's look in social media images from Gyula Pados. The images show Link's iconic green tunic, Hylian Shield and Master Sword, but also a bold new design choice, with a cape. The movie look is similar to scrapped Breath of the Wild character concept designs, suggesting director Wes Ball may have influenced Link's costume from documents in the Nintendo archives. The film, set for release on May 7, 2027, is expected to be released by the end of the decade.
