The Ministry of Economy and Tourism (MoE) and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the independent regulator of banking, wealth & asset management, and capital markets in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation and facilitate the exchange of information regarding regulatory oversight of auditors and Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions within their respective jurisdictions. The MoU also establishes a framework for collaboration between the two authorities to maintain high standards of transparency, accountability, and integrity across financial and non-financial sectors.
