Westlake police stopped a van on Sperry Drive on March 10 after learning that the registered owner was wanted on a felony warrant for probation violation in Franklin County. The male driver and female passenger were also without a valid license and both were wanted on arrest warrants. While investigating the vehicle, police found a container labelled 'drugs inside', which contained suspected methamphetamine. The driver was taken to the county jail and the female passenger was released. The prosecutor is expected to seek drug possession charges by seeking an indictment from a Cuyahoga County grand jury.
