Angel Martinez hits a grand slam as part of a career-best game and Guardians rout Royals 10-2

The Cleveland Guardians defeated the Kansas City Royals 10-2. Angel Martinez scored a grand slam and had a career-high four hits, while rookie Chase DeLauter delivered a two-run double. The victory was part of a season-high of 16 hits for Cleveland. The Royals' Cole Ragans was hit on his left thumb during the game, resulting in three runs in two innings. The Guardians' Joey Cantillo struck out nine and allowed one earned run and one unearned run on three hits.
