Texas AG, DOJ investigate nation's beef supply chain, allege unfair pricing

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has initiated an investigation into the beef industry, alleging potential "anticompetitive conduct" involving four companies that control over 85% of the nation's beef processing market. The investigation will be conducted alongside the Justice Department, which also launched an antitrust investigation.
