A federal court has rejected a bid by the Trump administration to slow the process of refunding billions of dollars worth of tariffs. The Supreme Court ruled in February that the government's sweeping tariffs were illegal, paving the way for importers to seek refunds. The government had collected more than $130 billion from the tariffs by mid-December and could potentially be on the hook for refunds totalling $175 billion. However, the Supreme Court has not provided guidance on refunds.
