United Airlines passengers evacuate on the tarmac after emergency landing in Los Angeles

United Airlines flight from Los Angeles International Airport was forced to make an emergency landing after an engine fire was reported shortly after takeoff. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was carrying 256 passengers and 12 crew members. The pilots shut down one of the two engines after receiving a fire alarm and evacuated the plane on a taxiway. No one was injured. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
