Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has released a solo jazz record, Honora, titled 2026. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Flea performed a soulful version of Frank Ocean's "Thinkin Bout You" on trumpet. He credits the influence of the album "Channel Orange" on his solo work and stated that he was profoundly inspired by it. The cover was included on Honora. In his upcoming memoir, Acid for the Children, he described the trumpet as the "kesthest of instruments" and the "spokesman for the divine".
