The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers continued to call out sick, despite President Trump's directive to pay them. This is due to a disagreement between Congressional Republicans and Democrats over immigration enforcement. Over 500 TSA workers have been without paychecks since mid-February and over 10 percent of the workforce reportedly called in sick. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is working with the Office of Management and Budget to use funds that have a "reasonable and logical nexus" to pay the agency's workforce. The TSA has stated that its employees should receive paychecks as early as Monday, March 30.
