West Hartford Police Freeze For A Good Cause Amid Icy Bath

The West Hartford Police Department held its first "Penguin Plunge" on March 29, raising $8,160 for Special Olympics. The event was held in the parking lot of West Hartford Town Hall and was originally postponed due to severe weather conditions. The money raised will benefit Special Olympics programs across the state.
