Beehiiv, a newsletter platform for independent creators and publishers, has introduced a new update to allow users to manage and optimize their accounts through AI platforms. The update allows users to access their accounts from the AI platform of their choice, rather than the app. The company hopes this will help streamline many tasks such as analyzing email lists and managing marketing outreach. The first version of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) will support writers with backend functions such as subscriber analysis and SEO optimization. Eventually, Beehiiv plans to expand the technology to provide more direct writing support. The startup, which has raised roughly $50 million so far, is not yet profitable.
