The sequel to "The Handmaid's Tale," set in Margaret Atwood's dystopian and misogynistic Gilead, has premiered with a new spinoff featuring a new cast and a new story. Executive Producer Bruce Miller praised the change in the show's clothes as a key highlight. "Testaments" follows the perspective of Agnes, played by Chase Infiniti, who discovers the horrors of her life in GileAD. The show is set to air on Hulu on Wednesdays. The original series, which ended in 2025, premiered in 2017 and is set for another episode less than a year later. Lucy Halliday, a self-proclaimed Atwood fan, expressed her excitement and hope for a mission-driven show to inspire a movement for a happier world.
