A man, 44-year-old Melchor Hernandez Alcaraz, has been arrested for providing alcohol to a 17-year old girl before sexually assaulting her, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect confessed to the crime during an interview with detectives. Alaraz is charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual battery on a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor by providing alcohol.
