Netflix has ordered a limited series based on Call Me By Your Name author André Aciman's bestselling novel, Enigma Variations, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who replaces Jeremy Allen White who was originally attached to star. The series, from Media Res, is written by Amanda Kate Shuman and directed by Oliver Hermanus, and will be written by Hermanus and executive produced by Shuman. This marks the American series debut for Taylor-johnson, who has several movies coming up with upcoming projects including The Morning Show for Apple TV, The Miniature Wife for Peacock, The Dealer, and The Chain for HBO.
