President Donald Trump's right hand was visibly bruised and covered in makeup during a state dinner hosted by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the White House on March 19. Despite attempts to conceal the injury, it was clearly visible despite attempts to cover it. The president explained the bruising was caused by his daily aspirin regimen, which he takes 325 milligrams per day compared to 81 milligraphic ones recommended by doctors. This incident is not the first time this week that the issue has surfaced. The meeting was held to strengthen the U.S.-Japan alliance.
