Marine fuel sales at the United Arab Emirates' Fujairah port fell sharply to a record low in March due to the U.S.-Iran conflict, disrupting supply and demand. The port, located in the Gulf of Oman, is a key refuelling point for ships carrying oil and fuel out of the region. Bunker sales, excluding lubricants, totalled 158,852 cubic metres (about 157,300 metric tons) in March, the lowest on record. Volumes were down more than 70% from February and the same month last year. The bunkering market in Fujarah remains constrained so far in April due to slow demand and few suppliers have available cargoes.
