Friend of slain Loyola student Sheridan Gorman said deadly Rogers Park shooting didn’t feel ‘targeted’

Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman was shot in the head in Rogers Park, Chicago, on Thursday morning. A friend of Gorman stated that the shooting did not appear as intentionally targeted towards her or any other individuals. Gorman, who was a fellow Loyola student, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred during a walk to the pier and was witnessed by Gorman's friends. The family has issued a statement demanding to know why someone decided to murder Gorman. As of Friday, no updates have been provided on the shooting.
