Police are investigating the deaths of three people, including an 18-year-old female university student, in a suspected group suicide. The bodies were discovered in a vacant lot in Ibaraki City, where used charcoal briquettes were found. The victims were identified as those of the men, who are believed to be in their 20s and 40s.
