Settle family calls off sale of Claudia Sanders Dinner House, Blackwood Hall in Shelbyville

The sale of the Claudia Sanders Dinner House and Blackwood Hall in Shelbyville, Kentucky has been cancelled due to concerns raised by the Settle family. The restaurant and former home of Harland “Colonel” Sanders was put up for auction earlier this month by the family. They announced in a social media post that they will continue preserving the tradition and hospitality that the restaurant and hall are known for. The Settle Family bought the properties from Sanders in 1974.
