A series of early morning break-ins targeted multiple Latino businesses in Pike Plaza in Indianapolis, with the windows of these businesses smashed and cash stolen. Six businesses were targeted, including Dulceria El Caramelo, Mi Mexico, International Restaurant, Zona Soccer, and Moda y Mas. The suspects made off with about $100 in cash and left behind more than $3,000 in damage. Despite these incidents, all businesses remain open and owners are urging the thieves to be held accountable. The break-in is not believed to be racially motivated, but investigators believe juveniles may have been involved.
