Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip have killed four people, including Al Jazeera journalist Muhammad Washah, according to local health authorities and the Qatari television network. The strike reportedly targeted Washah and another Palestinian driving along a coastal road in Gaza City. In a separate incident, two people were killed in the central Gaza Strip. Israel's military did not immediately comment on the killing. The Committee to Protect Journalists has documented 223 journalists and media workers killed in Gaza, Lebanon, and Israel, among which were journalists working for Reuters. The military has alleged some journalists were killed due to their links to Hamas, which their news organisations deny.
