Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman have appeared at CinemaCon promoting their sequel, Practical Magic 2, which premiered during a panel at Warner Bros. The stars discussed their roles in the 1998 romantic fantasy film and previewed the sequel, which reintroduced their characters as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, part of a multi-generational family of witches. The sequel, directed by Susanne Bier and co-writer Akiva Goldsman, will be released worldwide on September 11. The cast includes returning actresses Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, and Joe King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod.
