Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) is set to release body camera video from last week's deadly shooting of Katelyn Hall, a 28-year-old woman who was shot after locking herself in a bathroom during a mental health crisis. The two officers who fired shots are currently on administrative leave. The incident occurred during an altercation between Hall and the two officers involved. Police say the call did not meet criteria for the city's crisis diversion program, which sends trained responders instead of police to people in distress. The police chief has stated that they are working fast to release the footage, which requires 10 days of availability.
