Fire at Northeast Ohio home claims life of 1-year-old girl

A 1-year-old girl has died following a house fire in Stark County, Ohio. The fire was reported just before 9:30 p.m. on the 3400 block of Easton Street NE. Deputies and firefighters found the child trapped in an upstairs bedroom. The child was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital and later pronounced dead. Three family members were treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
