Trump alum helps Israel mount AI influence campaign

Israel has launched a $9 million social media campaign, led by Republican digital strategist Brad Parscale, who served as President Trump's 2020 campaign manager. The campaign aims to change how AI platforms portray Israel in a more favorable light. Parscale's team enlisted online search and AI modeling company Market Brew to create content that would be ingested by AI platforms. The team created nine websites that matched the AI's thinking and simulated what content they'd most likely surface. Despite this, Israel remains unpopular in the US, with 60 percent of Americans expressing an unfavorable view of Israel in an upcoming Pew Research survey.
