Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking assistance from the Iranian government for cooking fuel, a crucial step in balancing long-standing alliances with urgent economic needs. Two shipments of LPG, which is used as cooking and vehicle fuel, have already arrived in India and more are likely in the coming days. This comes as Iran continues to allow fuel-laden ships through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow bottleneck between Iran and Oman.
