Stephen Paul Gale, convicted of raping and kidnapping two women in 1989 at a Massachusetts clothing store, is set to be sentenced on Monday. The convicted murderer was found guilty of four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of kidnapping and a single count of armed robbery. The victims were attacked at a Hit or Miss store two days after Christmas and were working at the time. Five investigations led to the discovery of Gale's DNA, leading authorities to a national manhunt. Gale was arrested in 2024 in California after officials found him living on a yacht in Los Angeles. His defense plans to appeal the conviction.
